You will be part of a team that helps to do light construction on a much-needed training center in the community of Bat Ayin which is located just outside of Bethlehem. Part of the project includes working to complete an urgently-needed community bomb shelter. Our work days begin early but when it gets too hot, our group will go on tour of the Holy Land just about every day and on some days, work again in the evenings. COMMIT provides pre-field and orientation training as well as debriefing before returning home. No experience is necessary; we'll train you! Time permitting, you may spend time touring Arad, Bethlehem, Sea of Galilee, Caesarea Philippi, Capaernum, the Plain of Megiddo, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, En Gedi and the Crags of the Wild Goats, Gethsemane, the Dead Sea, and maybe you'll find yourself digging for sulphur balls (as several previous teams have done) in one of the ancient cities of Sodom.
