This is the best experience you will ever have!

Israel December 4-14, 2023 Help Build a Training Center & Tour the Holy Land!

Your trip fee of $3285.00 US includes Round Trip airfare! Commit Ministries partners with a large family ministry working among Muslims in Israel. You will be part of a team that helps to do light construction on a much-needed training center in the community of Bat Ayin which is located just outside of Bethlehem. When completed, it will serve as their home and eventually house short and long term staff members. The facility will be home to those who will soon come in order to learn about Israel and serve the needy. You will also learn how to read the Bible geographically and from a Jewish perspective. Our work days begin early but when it gets too hot, our group will go on tour of the Holy Land just about every day and on some days, work again in the evenings. COMMIT provides pre-field and orientation training as well as debriefing before returning home. No experience is necessary; we’ll train you! Time permitting, you may spend time touring Arad, Bethlehem, Sea of Galilee, Caesarea Philippi, Capaernum, the Plain of Megiddo, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, En Gedi and the Crags of the Wild Goats, Gethsemane, the Dead Sea, and maybe you’ll find yourself digging for sulphur balls (as several previous teams have done) in one of the ancient cities of Sodom.
Our team helps with light construction on a two story center that will be used to provide housing of incoming refugee families from South Sudan and Ukraine, housing to host larger groups and long-term workers, and will provide enough space to teach classes from Art to Jiu-Jitsu. The work site is located close to the city of Bethlehem and we’ll stay in the adjacent home with our hosts. But it’s not all work since our team will stop working early some days and tour the Holy Land the remainder of the day! And we’ll also learn a great deal about the culture from one of the linguistic experts at Jerusalem Christian University who will (among other things) teach us how to read the Bible from a Jewish perspective and from a geographical perspective as well.
