Help Build a Pastor's Home and help a Special Needs School & Host a Medical Outreach March 19-29.
This opportunity is open to everyone! Your team member fee includes RT international airfare from most cities worldwide. Your fee also includes hotel, camp style, and host lodging, most of your meals, ground transportation, medicines for the outreach, and helps to provide some of the materials related to the project. Your team will be coming alongside on going projects at one or possibly two special needs schools we serve in a very rural area in a mountainous region in Western Province and helping to paint and repair an Early Childhood Education center. You will also be helping to make and set blocks, dig foundations, mix concrete and in general, assist those who are in the process of building a home for a pastor doing ministry near a slum and working with our teams over the past 20 years. You will be helping to do whatever is necessary to help make this dream a reality. We will also host at least one community-wide primary care medical camps with oversight from the Ministry of Health...and you will be helping the doctors and nurses serve them! There is always something to do even if you just hold babies, hold a Grandma, or pray with those who have never seen a doctor before. You will build lifelong relationships!
We'll also interview some of the students in hopes to find sponsors that will provide $25 monthly scholarships to help pay for their school fees.
And we promise not to wear you out. Your team may also find time to visit Lake Victoria, the second largest fresh water lake in the world. Some past teams even made a side trip to the Equator and to a genuine rainforest which is always exciting. You and your team will also take part on a day time, Game Drive Safari to see the animals at one of the famous Kenya game parks.
Remember: Experience is not required. A willing heart to serve the poorest of the poor is all that is required. We will debrief before returning home.

The team member fee also includes hotel and camp-style lodging, most meals, in-country flights, ground transportation, medicines for the outreach, a daytime wild animal Safari, and some of the materials related to the project. Your team will be helping an orphan home and school by helping to construct a new, larger dining hall and kitchen at a remote bush village east of Lake Victoria in Western Kenya. Your team will be working alongside a drilling crew that will be digging a deep water well to provide for the school, orphans, staff, and community as well. Your team will also work alongside the doctors and nurses hosting a primary care medical camp at the orphan home and neighboring school and may provide for one other at a Special Needs school up north. Your team works alongside locals helping to provide the labor to make concrete blocks, dig the foundation, roll paint, or do whatever it is that we can to make this dream a reality. You will also take part on a day time safari to see the animals at one of the famous Kenya game parks.
